Re: Missed Cougar Hunt

Nice Cat for Sure. Congrats to your friend. Odd question, do you know if he ate any of the meat. I've heard they aren't all that bad.

Re: 2022 Five Shot Challenge Input Needed

Acctually I did think of one more thing for this year. Make Bill K shoot Blindfolded! The rest of us are just shooting for first loser otherwise. 🤣

In all seriousness I'm glad you shoot so well Bill it makes a guy want to only do better.

Re: Anyone use the Nosler 34 Grain HP bullet?

I'm waiting on an order I split with a guy from work. Dont really need them but know my son isn't getting any younger and would help to have some plinking and short range P-Dog pills.

Re: 2022 Five Shot Challenge Input Needed

I'm definitely in for my sophomore shoot. Whatever works with me. 100, 200 or both if separate I'm in either way. I did like that Skipper allowed for a long shoot and return window. It helps with busy schedules and weather conditions, not being super close to my range it does help.

No Deer but Birds?

Well as the title state. My FIL and the Boss Lady went nil on the there does tags. Practice and more Trigger time will be in order for next summer. The mild winter we had resulted in an increased number of pheasants. After busting through the thick stuff and anywhere we usually find deer I noticed t...

Re: Summer of 2021 Challenge Winners Circle

Congrats Bill! Kinda figured that you'd be holding on to the crown for another year. I'll just have to work harder next year. Had alot of fun with my first challenge, and again thanks to Skipper for putting in the work to make it happen.

Preparations for next year starts now!

Should have forked out the extra cash for the accutrigger model. This trigger pulls very very heavy. Hard to know how well the gun will acctuall...

Re: Still slow here

We are finally getting our spring rains. Received a scattered 1-2" over the last week and are getting that again today. Way to late for any crops left in the fields just in time for guys to be fighting mud for sugar beet harvest. But we'll take it what and when we can.

Re: The Challenge Begins!

Well I finally was able to squeeze in a couple hrs to shoot my target. Spoiler Alert it won't win! That's just fine with me. I had fun, it's been absurdly dry and hot this summer as most of you guys are experiencing the same thing weather wise. This morning was very nice with it being 65 degrees @ 0...

Re: Rock Chucks in Nevada2

Awsome! It's great scenery for sure. I as many others love seeing those old pieces of history, and how the higher elevations and just the dryer atmosphere of the great American west can preserve those structures.

Thanks bronad.
