How many times neck sizing before f/l?
I have 3 firings out of new norma brass. My bolt is starting to close a little snug now, do you guys f/l or bump shoulders back at this point? or take them another firing or two until the bolt really starts closing hard? thanks in advance

Re: ? On accuracy?
Thank you both for the timely replies! I should have waited untill after cleaning and re-shooting to post...After cleaning it very well I fired a fouler and the next 4 shots were touching, the 5th was about a half inch off the group, I'll call it shooter error, that's what usually happens when i sta...

? On accuracy?
Need advice again...I developed a load late last spring, early summer that shot very well, alot of 5shot groups under half inch. Didn't shoot much through summer and fall. Been keeping it with me in the truck now the last few weeks and have nailed some nice long shots at crows and other vermin, but ...

Re: Hornady ammo $24.99 per 50 rounds
I had the same idea....Got my brass by buying loaded Hornady. After loading a couple times iv got 200 Norma's now, the difference in quality was remarkable. I paid 70-80cents apiece for them, if you do the math for the life of this brass the difference in price is a non factor!

Re: CZ is in the house!
Not quite as much of a show though as my .25-06 with 90gr blitz kings. That thing will gut, skin, and tan a house cat in one shot!! Haha there's not a whole lot left.

Re: CZ is in the house!
Inkyfromsd, I use the 39gr blitz kings. Norma brass, 24.8gr rl10x, CCI br4 primers. 3825fps. Also have a load with the 35 Berger's and 2230 that shoots very well at 3950fps. The 32 blitz kings and rl10x run well over 4100fps out of mine under max load. But the 39s are my load of choice. With its hig...

Boy, my 527 varmint sure doesn't have a stock anything close to that nice!! It's not horrible but nothing like that. It shoots lights out though.

Re: Remington .25-06rem brass????
I went to Cabela's website, don't see any Remington brass in .25-06rem. I have checked all the big suppliers websites. All of them either don't have it listed or out of stock, no back order, or midway says temporarily unavailable from manufacturer.

.25-06 rem question
I've had, and been reloading for my .25-06 for years. I shoot the 75 vmax atop H414. Always have used Rem brass, but got some Hornady awhile back, that was what was available. A couple month ago I shot some groups with my well used Rem brass, two nice groups one under 1/2" and one a little over...

Re: bullet seating question (Lee dies)
Alright guys.... I went ahead and dropped the $ on some new Norma brass, and a set of Redding Premier Deluxe dies with F/L, neck, and mic. seating die. I ran the expander ball through the brass, there were a couple of mouths that had a slight flat spot in them. I measured all the brass, they were de...

Re: neck tension issue?
Thank you for this info...I will check some of this stuff out. I am not looking to shoot 1-hole groups at 100, I mean I would love to be able to do it, but I am happy with my .5 inch groups(probably as good as my ability is anyhow), I just hate the fliers here and there when I am pretty sure it's no...

neck tension issue?
Another question for someone more knowledgeable than I....I've got a couple of loads with 39 blitzkings one with 10x and one with H4895 that are pretty decent. I have shot some .5inch 5-shot groups at 100 yrds. I am neck sizing with Lee Collet die and I can tell when seating bullets that some go in ...

Re: bullet seating question (Lee dies)
So the neck tension inconsistency is just something I'm going to have to live with unless I anneal my cases? I thought of maybe getting some Norma brass and seeing if those are more consistent. I had read somewhere that the Hornady brass is pretty thin and hardens quickly so it has some spring-back ...
