Always did like the looks of a Low Wall... Nice rifle Rick.
One in .204 could be pretty sweet indeed.

I know a great guide for silver salmon fly fishing... but not for caribou. Doggone it.
Caribou could be a great hunt though...

Re: 1st Coyote this Year with the new CZ .204
The .25-06 I favor for deer hunting works great on coyotes! It is however a little tough on hides. This one was with a 115 gr Berger VLD at about 3190 fps mv:

Re: 1st Coyote this Year with the new CZ .204
Congrats on your success afield!
Noticed a LOT more coyotes than usual while out deer hunting this season.
Soon as the late archery seasons close, I'll be out there with my little CZ, after some coyotes. They take quite a toll on the deer herds.

Re: Your Best/Favorite Deer Hunting Rifles?
My favorite deer rifle is a .25-06 Rem 700 CDL, with a 6x Leupold. It's done real well for me for several years now on both deer & coyotes: http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/GuyMiner/hunting%20photos/1e1841e8.jpg For some reason I went back to my old .308 Win/Rem 700 with the Krieger barrel...

Re: Red Tip! The Hornady Experience
Critter, I've had very good results on rockchucks using the Hornady 40 grain V-Max from my .204 Ruger. The V-Max 110 and the A-Max 155 from my .308 have also worked out very well on targets - haven't tried them on live game yet, but have read good reports. Hornady is making one heck of a bullet for ...

Re: 6.5x47 Lapua build
I'm real fond of that particular McMillan stock. Critter recommended I get my .308 glass bedded into the McMillan by Rick Freudenberg, a first class rifle builder in Everett Washington. It's tight as a drum several years later. Really good all-around field stock for a precision rifle: http://i87.pho...

Re: Anyone with an opinion of the Rem 770 or Savage Edge
At the end of the hunting seasons, and before Christmas (meaning now) check the pawn shops and second hand gun stores for great deals on used rifles - many with decent scopes attached, at far below the original asking price. I'd not hesitate to buy any Win 70, Ruger 77, or Remington 700 or Model 7 i...

Thanks! It was a mighty fine day in the duck blind.
Don't know if I'm going to get out again or not... Sure would enjoy it...
Maybe geese this time - if they come back. Not too cold today, mid/high 20's and snowing like crazy!
