.204 40gr. Nosler BT vs Hornady 40gr vmax

Anyone have any experience with the 40 grain nosler bt and coyotes. Did a comparison video and they seem to hold together better but I like that hornady 40 gr. vmax don't usually exit a coyote and these might.

Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge

Finnaly got the federal premium 40 grain nosler ballistic tip in and did a fun target for kicks. Ammo sure makes a big difference. Both are 5 shot.

Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge

Well game over, now to see the listing of placement and the #1 group, although it looks like we know who that one is. But will be neat to see where all of us placed, this time. If that is not too much work for Skipper. And Skipper, Thank You very much for your time and effort to pull this off. Bill...

I've taken elk but not slow elk.

Question? Photo was done on my iPad and is still oriented properly there. What turned it on the computer version?
Same thing happened to me on another sight...πŸ€”

Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge

Finnaly got to the post office and picked up my target. I'm in a small town and have had my favorite ammo (federal 40gr. nosler ballistic tip) on order for 2 weeks but was told today it won't arrive til wed at the earliest so might have to do the challenge with a different factory load. I'll wait ti...

Re: Monthly Shootout: Any interest?

My 2 cents.

Use the target you have or want to use or want to print.
Have fun.
Maybe a tape measure in the pic with your target.
Have fun!

Re: Monthly Shootout: Any interest?

Not to bad. The Hornady 24 gr. NTX were shot through the iscope and the Hornady 45 gr SP were not using the iscope. An iscope is a device that allows me to use my iPhone to video through my scope. Cool but a little cumbersome to use. I used my canon to video the 45 gr. sp and it's much clearer.

Re: Monthly Shootout: Any interest?

Gonna go right now and try 5 shots just for kicks with some 24 ntx hornady. I always shoot 100 or 200 so I'll try em at 50 for kicks. Plus less walking.😁
