Nice buck, dude. Never seen anything like those antlers.

I hunt just west of you in the Detroit Lakes area. Looking forward to 2017.

Re: Monthly Shootout: Any interest?

Great! Awesome to see all these responses coming in. There was one big concern, and I would like to address that. Some members are hesitant about this - as they assume that we want names and addresses of people participating in this monthly/shootout. Absolutely not the case. The other thread - starte...

Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge

Skipper: Target received in the mail. 2.5" is the measurement. Thanks for putting this together. I have a question: how is it being scored? does the distance from the center make any difference? Or are you measuring the group size only? I know some folks like to measure the group and then add t...

Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge

I'm in!

This can be a monthly challenge. I do this on another board with a few other folks. I'll post a thread with that.

For now, I'm all in.

Reloading n00b. Where to start?

Title says it all. Looking to start reloading. Thinking of going the route of Hornady Kit. And they have a Mail-in-rebate for 500 bullets (223, 6mm, etc..). The kit looks like it includes everything I need - apart from the dies. I have some questions for the more seasoned re-loaders. Firstly, is thi...

Re: 50 yard zero. How high at 100?

Crunched some numbers and hit the range after work. Some strong gusts. No problemo.. Turned down 6 clicks (1.5 inches) down. Fired 3. Pretty good. Think 5 would be better. So gave it a click up. First 3 are grouped below. Last one up top. http://i.imgur.com/LwlNWDf.jpg Clean target. 3 shots at 100. ...

Thank you, sir. Looks my calculation was off as I entered the scope height incorrectly. Used the LRBC app from Vortex and numbers seem correct.

I am rather surprised that it is an inch high at 200. Thought I'd be pretty close to center.

Cheers.

After you enter the data there two data points provided;

Max PBR Range
Max PBR Zero

I'm not sure what it means but in the sample I ran they were the same.

HTH,
Can you post a link to the site, please?

50 yard zero. How high at 100?

Been a while since I posted here. Busy with new job and a move to a new house. The.204 which was supposed to be my coyote gun, has been growing on me. Been shooting it more than anything else at the range. It is a T/C Venture with a 1:9 twist and 22" barrel. Ammo is Hornady Superformance, 40gr ...
