Re: Fox hunting in northern Sweden

Great photo! Looks like a perfect setup. How about a description of your .204? Randy.

Re: Once-fired Hornady brass

I'm still interested in some of the brass if you still have some. Please PM me to discuss the details. Thanks, Randy. randyman57@hotmail.com

Re: Once-fired Hornady brass

I would like a couple hundred pieces as well-thanks! If you'll send me your email address I'll be glad to send some funds to cover shipping and the flat rate packaging plus a little for your trouble. Whatever you can jam into the box is fine-no need to count the pieces. Randy. randyman57@hotmail.com

Re: Suggested load tikka t3x 32 vmax or 39sbk ar2206h

I had a Tikka T3 Hunter for a while but the barrel heated up too quickly for it to be part of the sage rat arsenal. But, while I had it my favorite load was the same as Bill K.-CFE223 and 32 gr. tipped bullets. I kept increasing the powder charge in minimal increments trying to find the sweet spot b...

So, where are you off to Brooks? I drove past your place today on my way to the range and saw the for sale sign in your yard. Randy.

Re: The one shot zero

I pretty much use the same procedures but still like to fire a few more rounds down range just to be sure. Besides, I'm not driving all the way out to the range just to fire one round! I'm there to convert gun powder to noise. Thanks for the tips and welcome to the forum! Randy.

.257 Roberts load testing

I had a pretty good load worked up for my deer rifle but this year we gotta shoot lead-free bullets so I pretty much have to start over. I started with a slightly reduced load of RL-15 just to make sure there weren't any problems with the TTSX 100 grain bullets I got. I worked up loads in .5 grain i...

Re: Coyote specific AR build - need opinions

I also use the RCBS small base dies in my .204 AR. Without using the small base dies the bolt won't close. Mine isn't a walk around gun though with a 24" Shilen bull barrel and a Ca. legal stock this thing weighs in at 12 lbs including the bipod and scope. I use nothing but CFE223 at around 29....

Re: And The Winner Is - 2019 Five-N-Dime Challenge

Wow! Congrats Bill-that's a remarkable target! Also, thanks Skipper for handling all the details for this year's shoot-well done! Will the rest of us see how we placed in the overall grouping? I wouldn't care if I was in last place and was listed as such. Randy

Re: 2019 Five-N-Dime Competition News

I took the .204 out to the range today-no wind and 78 degrees. Shot my target and hope next year it gets changed to the 2020 four-n-nickel! What is it about that 5th shot? Anyway, I'll get the target in the mail for an official score but it's nothing to get excited about. Good luck to the rest of yo...

Re: 20 vartarg

I pretty much do what Rick has stated and with my VT I use a .226 bushing in the Redding die. As for neck turning, if I just resize .221 Fireball brass I haven't needed to neck turn but when I made 500 rounds from .223/5.56 brass it all had to be turned. Unfortunately, about 25% of that brass won't ...

You'd be more than welcome. I enjoy all your inputs to this forum and I think a group shoot with those of us who live close enough would be great! R!
