As if I didn't have the "fever" bad enough! I loaded 150 rounds of .204 today. June is just around the corner.

If I had stuck with factory ammo, my Cooper would have been disappointing. With my reloads, it really came into it's own. You may find a good factory round, but reloads are usually much more accurate.

I shoot 7x21 power scopes on both my pd guns, but I usually keep them at 14x. That's usually plenty for 300+ yd shots. My scopes are mil-dot, so more power fouls up my calculations.

One thing I ran into with the Hornady brass......When I adjusted the die to full length size my brass (die touching the shell holder). It sized my Winchester brass, but when I ran Hornady brass thru the die....the brass won't chamber in the rifle. I since bought a Stoney Point guage to check the len...

I'm loading 27.3 grs of Benchmark with the 32 gr Blitzking for my Cooper. It shoots very good in my rifle, don't remember the exact fps, but will check my book if you need it.

I used to have my press mounted on a thick board and c-clamp it to a work mate. Just fold up the work mate when you finish.
