Jard trigger for Cooper 204

I have read on the forum where some members have installed a Jard trigger on their Cooper rifle. I was thinking of a 8 or 10 oz trigger, but was curious if anyone has had issues with the Jard trigger unit. How have they worked for you over time.

Thanks

Cooper Model 21 in 20 Vartarg

Just got out to the range today to try out the new Cooper rifle and it didn’t disappoint
5 shot group during load testing is the best I think I have ever shot.

Re: 39 blitzking

I’m even shooting the 39’s in my 20 Vartarg with great success. Sierra Bullets in their newest reloading book even has load data for the 20 Vartarg in both bullet weights...😀

Cooper 57M

Was wondering if anyone has experience with the Cooper 57M rifles and how accurate are they. Looking for more bench shooting models and how they perform. What do you think of the TRP3 model?

Thanks

The more I shot the 20’s, the more I like them. What is even better is all the super helpful people here more than willing to share their knowledge with everyone.

Re: Cooper Model 21

I just had a Remington 700 re-barreled to 20 Vartarg by PAC-Nor and love it. The main reason I was thinking of getting the Cooper done was the price, less than half of PAC-Nor. I understand about the free bore, but I know of a few factory Coopers that shoot very well or so stated by their owners.

Cooper Model 21

Ok.... I have a Cooper model 21 rifle in 204 Ruger MTV. I do shot it now and then, but since I started with the 20 Vartarg build, it is by far my favorite cartridge. I called Cooper Firearms and checked into getting it re-barreled in in 20 Vartarg and found out that since I’m the original owner I ca...

Re: 20 vartarg

I guess I must be running really lite neck tension on my reloads… Chamber neck is .232 from the reamer print I got from Pac-Nor and when I measure a loaded rounds it’s .231 I will order a bushing die and some more bushings too. Thanks again.

Re: 20 vartarg

Ok.... my Hornady die set is not going to cut it. The only other die company I can find is Redding and they only make it in a bushing model. Never used one before, but understand how they work. My question is how much neck tension do you run on your reloads? I see numbers between .001 to .005. Need ...
