Re: Dogs dog huntin"???

rdd, I like to have a dog with me on stand. An extra set of eyes cannot hurt. My old blue heeler was excellent (great blood trailer at elk camp, too). A lot of coyutes that would not have been taken, were killed due to her. My new red heeler is not picking it up as fast, tho. Here is my bud with a do...

Re: Trying to decide on what .204 is the best

Is your hmr ruger a 77/17? Why not just get another ruger? You are already familiar with the safety and ergonomics, if it is a 77/17 and all.......

Diz, I turned my rcbs decapper stem down in a drill press using a carborundum sharpening stone. You only have to remove a little material, about down to the bottom of the knurling. A mill file would work, too. Hope this helps. Don

New or not, They are a hoot to shoot. And a 10-22 is a great way to start. Lots of aftermarket goodies around. Anything from 50 rd drum mags to folding stocks. You can customize one to fit your wants or needs. I think you will find one is not enuff........ Get on the bandwagon now, before it leaves ...

JG, the band is a separate component. It can be removed without taking anything else off. You can also mount a front sling swivel to it. I have a pic of a stainless 10-22 carbine in my new plinker thread. Or go to Rugers website. Don
