Re: Wanted - WW Brass and 39gr SBKs

I would check Midsouth shooters supply. Normally their stock is good and also their prices. Sounds like you're getting a late start on loading, (can relate). Where are you located? Good luck!

Re: New Toy!

Captqc, normally the "old-timer" in me comes out and I don't care for the looks of a .45 "bobtail". But, I have to admit, that is one FINE looking pistol! The grips are really icing on the cake. I hear the Ed Brown guns are top notch. Keep us posted on how she shoots.

Re: Finally decided on a .22..........

Ramos, sorry for the late reply. As far as I know, they are blocks for mounting one of the LONG target scopes. These guns were built by Kimber in the mid 80's for the Army marksman ship program. It has a Wilson barrel (not sure if it is the same Wilson group that now owns Cooper), but would be nice ...

Finally decided on a .22..........

or actually decided on TWO rimfires. I shot the first gun (with scope), with the peep sights prior to buying my scope. I haven't shot an iron sight gun in probably 30+ years. I really enjoyed re-learning the peep sights, and actually shot some pretty decent groups. I decided that I wanted to have on...

Re: First trip to the range with my 204.

Good looking groups and nice gun. You might try some Benchmark and see how it works. I'm using it in both my .204's with 32 and 39 gr blitzkings. 10X was definitely showing promise too.

Re: ? for all you Cooper Nuts

I'm starting to have a "complex". Rick has three Coopers, and I've only got two. Another Cooper sure would lift my spirits, especially here at Christmas.

Re: Another ND Coyote Hunt on 12-7-2010

SF, thanks for the great write-up and pics! I really appreciate you taking the time to do a detailed story of your hunts. Believe me, my hunts aren't nearly as productive, and my hunting territory is not as pretty as yours. Keep up the good work!

Re: shot out factory barrel. need some advise

I hope your gunsmith is wrong, cause mine has over 2400 rounds thru it. My last groups experimenting with 10X were in the .3's and .4's. My shooting buddy is waiting to get his action and new Pac-Nor bbl back from them as we speak. Can't wait to try it out and see how it shoots. He went with a 1-12 ...

Still thinking about........

getting a quality .22 rifle for local matches and informal shooting. I had my eye on a Anschutz multi-purpose (mdl 64, I think). Deep down, I want another Cooper rifle, and the LVT really catches my eye. Anyone have experience with either guns? Also, where are the best prices you have found for Ansc...
