I would check Midsouth shooters supply. Normally their stock is good and also their prices. Sounds like you're getting a late start on loading, (can relate). Where are you located? Good luck!

Captqc, normally the "old-timer" in me comes out and I don't care for the looks of a .45 "bobtail". But, I have to admit, that is one FINE looking pistol! The grips are really icing on the cake. I hear the Ed Brown guns are top notch. Keep us posted on how she shoots.

Ramos, sorry for the late reply. As far as I know, they are blocks for mounting one of the LONG target scopes. These guns were built by Kimber in the mid 80's for the Army marksman ship program. Good looking groups and nice gun. You might try some Benchmark and see how it works. I'm using it in both my .204's with 32 and 39 gr blitzkings. 10X was definitely showing promise too.
