i have the T/C Venture in 204 and it shoots the factor 40 grain rounds great,,,,,,

i am interested in getting back into reloading after a 40 year break,,,, gonna reload 204 ruger and 22-250, for punching paper and hunting , in small volumes , currently using a friends forster press , i have a beam scale but thought i would use a powder measure to get close, is the hornady press go...

i have the venture in .204 as my carry gun,, it shoots factory 40 grain ammunition well, groups under 1 in, has an
adjustable trigger, thats not to bad , may not be as good as the cz ,, all said i like the gun

went to the local gander mountian store,,,,i live in a small city,,,,,they had more ammo then ive seen on a store shelf in 3 yrs,,,they several brand 22lr,,,they even had 17 and 22 hornet , plus a full complement of centerfire rifle ammo , and they are putting in brass cartridge reloading supplies

as mz5 said earlier ,,,i had read about a dopler chrony thats coming out ,,,,,you can look in longrangehunter.com for some info on it

i think the question is , given a pen, and the want to build a most accurate .204 ruger file, whose components would you list to build that rifle,,, what barrel,,, manufacturer, contour , length,,,, what stock would you choose , mcmillan,,,boyds , bell and carlson etc, what config would you choose,,...

what about a production rifle \ factory ammo class,,,,,,,,,?????

things around here are kinda quiet these days ,,,,thought i would ask what everyones fav forums , resourses,,, blogs are for centerfire rifles, shooting , reloading , etc, predator and varmint hunting
