Re: AR Jewel Trigger troubleshoot

I have never had a Jewel trigger but it sounds like something is coming loose. Are you supposed to loctite anything? Do the adjustments change after firing?

Group buy may be on the way!

I just wanted to give you a heads up. I am trying to put together a deal for some .204 Ruger AR uppers. It looks like it will be a couple of months out at the most (hopefully). Here are the details and options. Due to a relatively low quantity, the completed uppers will probably cost about $650. All...

I am very sad to hear that he passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Thanks for letting us know Rick.

Please Vote! AR upper group buy: Would you buy?

This is a poll to simply gather information. There is no commitment to buy! Upper Description Uppers would come complete with bolt carrier and charging handle. Hopefully, you would have a choice of a slick-sided receiver or one with forward-assist and ejection port door. Handguard would be a free-f...

Optimal twist rate for 40 gr. bullets?

I think it is a generally accepted conclusion that Ruger went with a marginal twist rate for the 40 grain bullets when they decided to use a 1/12" twist. For all you experts out there, if you were to design your dream .204 and could pick your twist rate, what would you choose? 1/9", 1/10&q...

Re: AR15 Trigger solutions????

I have installed 3 JP custom triggers. They took awhile and you have to know what you are doing but the result was fantastic for each. I also have a Timney trigger and love it. I especially appreciated how easy it was to install the Timney trigger but I learned A LOT from installing the JP triggers....

Re: Bullet stability

Assuming that this is your problem, higher velocity will increase the RPM of the bullet so the bullet would stabilize better. If you have room, you could try a little hotter load and see how it affects your groups.

Re: Avatars!

We do have that option. Most boards that allow users to upload their own have a problem with inappropriate avatars. I want this site to remain "family friendly" and it could become a management nightmare trying to police avatars. I understand your reasons, thanks for the answer. Maybe one...

I made a change that hopefully fixes the problem. Give it just a little of time while the hot topics become "active".

Thanks for your patience.
