Question about Bushing Sizing Dies

Friends,

Can a 20VT Redding Type S Bushing Neck Sizer die be used to resize 204 Ruger as well? Seems like it would if properly adjusted, given the relative length of the two cases.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: finally got some RL10 need some good loads

23.8 gr of RL-10X under a 39gr Blitzking is a very accurate and mild load in my Cooper. It's far enough off of maximum that I almost never lose sight picture on impact.

20VT: Anneal after forming?

Finally getting the 20VT going. I'm a bit confused as to when to anneal cases (I'm using Rem 221 FB cases). Do I anneal after the initial necking down, after fireforming, or just after x firings after the brass shows signed of having work-hardened?

Thanks,
Dan

204 bore guide in Vartarg?

Friends,

I have a Possum Hollow bore guide for my M21 in 204. Would it be ok/beneficial to use it for an M38 in 20VT?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Cedarville Squirrel Roundup?

Thanks, Rick. Put that way, it makes a lot of sense. I was just hoping to not to have to knock on doors to find places, which is my idea of the third circle of heck. My main rat shooting venue is now growing potatoes. :(

Cedarville Squirrel Roundup?

Anybody going? I'm thinking strongly on it, assuming there are still spots available.

Re: Savage B Mag in 17 wsm

I too found the rifle disappointing, and I'm a Savage fan. A bit of good news though, Volquartsen is chambering a rifle for it.

Edit: As already noted by Sidewinder... :wall:

WTB BR Pivot

No doubt many of you are laughing right now, assuming you're not commiserating. But, before I buy the Caldwell from Midway I thought I'd run it by the group here and see if there's any chance that someone has a BR Pivot they'd like to part with.

Re: Cooper 38 in 20VT

And another: http://store.heritageguild.com/catalog_detail.php?product_id=82795 I was looking at that rifle every day for a month, and intended to buy it on 1/4 when my 'new rifle' fund will exceed the price. Friday or Saturday, it went from "In Stock" to "Call for Availability."

Bags for use with Cowan Rest?

Thanks as always, Rick.

Looks like you have a speed screw on your rest. Do you find it useful? It's a $50 option on the Cowan.
