I am a Marlin RF guy. I picked up the heavy SS version the year they came out & still get excited about taking it out of the safe. But you have to change the trigger out. Finally got to the range today myself. Almost got the ol 222 sighted before the winds picked up. Should be a matter of a couple more groups.

Once again a lot of fun was had by all!! Including those that can only dream of those numbers of rounds in a day!!

Very Nice Rick!! The groundhogs are running from burrow to burrow here too. The winds haven't been very co-operative to re-sight the rifles so they are safe for now. Itching to post some pics too!!

Just out of curiosity. Why do you zero your scope during load development? Why not just shoot all 5 shots & see where they land? I prefer to not shoot my aiming point out til after I've found a load I intend to use. So maybe not having that defined aim point on every shot is the culprit? I'm not...
