Re: Forum keeping me sane
I've been going out Coyote Hunting since the close of Rifle Deer Season here in Missouri, its been pretty slow and I think the Coyotes are still nervous from being shot at the 11 days of our Gun season since we haven't seen one yet....been hearing a lot of barking and howling just nothing showing its...

Re: Bagged my first Coyote!!!
Congratulations on Your first Coyote...those .204's can really put down the Coyotes......I'd stick with it,the .204's are easier on the hides than the .243 Rifles......unless You have some high winds then the .243 will work better? :chin:  Oh yeah...Great Pictures...looks like Your having the ...

Re: cz 527 shimming
Make sure You have the right ring in the correct spot....I have the CZ-USA 527 in the "Varmint" and we accidently put the rings in the wrong spot...took them off and noticed the back ring (I believe) had a square key-way to fit in the notched-out spot on the Rifle. It actually fit when we h...

Re: 1st Coyote this Year with the new CZ .204
Thanks Guys...I've been busy the past week with our Deer Rifle Season here in Missouri so the Coyote/Predator Hunting has been on hold for the moment, the other Hunters in our Lease did take down 2 Coyotes while Deer Hunting so it wasn't a total bust...I filled all my Tags so I'm not allowed to go ou...

Sounds like Your going to have a lot of fun taking down those Coyotes! :D  I have been using my CZ-USA in the .204 for taking down the Coyotes around here, hopefully I will get me a few Bobcats and Foxes this Winter too?I was using my Browning Bolt-action .243 and it did minimal damage with 100...

Re: 40 gr. hornady vmax
I shot the Hornady 40 grain V-max in my new CZ-USA Model 527 "Varmint" .204 Rifle and they performed pretty good.....I was hoping for tighter groups and after sighting the gun in and shooting it a little I went with the Winchester 32 grain ballistic tips...they didn't group up as good as t...

If I'm not mistaken I think Midway USA carries the 39 grain SBK....in Federal V-Shok.They had a decent price on them too...check shipping prices,it may be free after a certain amount of money spent.I tried BPS and Cabela's...neither one carries the SBK cartridges! :duh: I don't remember if Cheaper t...
