Re: Another Varmint gun!

I have a cooper model 38 in .17 fireball and I love it. Very accurate out to 350 yards or a touch more. Mine shoots the 20's and 25's great and it is easy to load accurate rounds. Mine even shoot factory ammo fairly well.

Re: Help me find my Cooper

http://www.whittakerguns.com/  Whittaker has one 280AI in a 52 Classic and to be honest the owner pretty much talked me out of it because he said the wood was only so so. I asked him to take a photo and he said they have no way to do that. So, I have a friend in KY who is going to swing by th...

Help me find my Cooper

So I was pretty excited to find the Cooper I wanted on Gunbroker and I called to ask about it and they called me back Saturday when unfortunately I was tied up with my family. I called them back this morning 30 minutes after they opened and they had sold my dream rifle 10 minutes before I called. So...

Re: Rick in Oregon

Rick, Sorry to hear that they got you down and have been working on you. Glad to hear that you are coming around though. When I first read the first post about three surgeries my heart sunk as I know I don't know you other than a few posts but I also went down hard in February and almost bought the ...

Thanks - I had just prepped 100 cases and I loaded 50 of them with that 18.7/Benchmark/25GR load. I'll give them a try.

Re: H4198 in 204 Ruger

Don't know about the 204 but seeing that I own a Cooper in 17 Fireball I would like to learn about this 17 fireball experiment... Tell me what loads have worked well for you with the fireball please, sorry for the OT. I have been working up several loads just have not had a chance to get out and sho...

You hit a home run with that rifle! Simply outstanding! Beautiful . . .
Thanks - I'm rather fond of this one myself. I just love the wood, not overly fancy, just right.

Re: Got my Cooper...

Wow you have it bad! List you model numbers and what caliber and tell us what your favorite is. No Phoenix in the group? Surprised.... I actually just put my Ruger #1V .204 up for sale to help fund a Cooper in 204 or 220 swift or maybe both...... I am very impressed with this gun, I shot it and wow ...

Re: Brand new reloader here, questions on the dies, confused.

Rick - Looks nice and you have lots of stuff there. On the reloading dies I went ahead and bought 3 die sets for everything that I am going to reload which includes a full length resizing die as well as just a neck sizing die. I'm gonna hold off on the sheetrock as this house is going on the market ...

Re: Brand new reloader here, questions on the dies, confused.

Have you built or sequestered a bench yet? THE most important item in reloading. SOLID platform to work on. Actually, buy the chair that YOU like and can sit/move comfortably in, then make the bench the height that goes with the chair. Well I had an area in the basement with an old school desk that...
