My son needs a Jewell w/ safety for his 223 Vermin rig, we do have an extra AR Jewell if a trade is preferred.
Thanks

Re: Dang son claimed my 204 AR- Killed a Yote
Sorry My wow was for something else. When I started going to U of R Laser facility ~2 yrs ago I couldn't locate the facility and only go to American, and a gun store down on Rt 332 east of Victor. Sometimes I stay there to go to the gun store, Antiques on 332 and canandagua for a Philly cheese steak...

Re: Dang son claimed my 204 AR- Killed a Yote
Wow, Thant is interesting.
I usually go to American sportsman to see my Corvette buddy, but never could find Beikirch, my GPS said it was north of the park and at the tracks....
I'll have to go there next month. I will be in Rochester the 11th to 14th.
Thanks for the heads up

Re: How much is 0.1 inch worth in fps?
Good deal on getting successful load development. If you are going to use the bipod for vermin shooting, your groups fired using the same equipment is great,,,, but if your goal WAS to get the best load feedback, the above suggestions on range equipment is wise to learn from for future firearms load...

Re: Dang son claimed my 204 AR- Killed a Yote
Sorry, Northern California. There are a lot of really good wineries around the country these days... wish fermented Alcohol didn't give me bad headaches, even grain alcohol screws with me and I get migraines. Pretty cool they allow picnicks and/ or food, around here farmers with 40 acres buy grapes ...

" I know how much movement I see in the scope and have a hard time convincing myself that there is a real difference between the groups that I can attribute to the loads." Sounds like you need to adjust the parallax on your scope, if I understand the "movement in the scope" comme...

Re: Dang son claimed my 204 AR- Killed a Yote
Yes, we need to keep on them, soon. All the Jack's are gone, so no plinking for my grandson, quail are coming back, but the yotes will get them. The closest river is 3 miles from us, and deer usually don't make it this far from the river, using others vineyards...but we did see 2 does about 7 years ...

Dang son claimed my 204 AR- Killed a Yote
:D I picked up my 3rd 204 Ruger about a year ago, it is a DPMS 204 SST blackened-fluted 24" tube, weight is right at 13# with the heavy butt and bipod. Has a JP trigger at 2 1/2#, pretty crisp for a semi gun. I have some loads that it likes, Varget and 40 grain ballistic tips, which DPMS says w...

Re: Spring Varmints & 204's (Pics)
Looks like great fun , sans the cold and wind. I have a desire to up my varmint arsenal in the next 6 months ( when I can build up funds) for a 6mm BR heavy barrel for up to 105 grain pills, curious how accurate your bud's Cooper 6BR is and if much better in the wind then the 204-223's you shoot? I ...

Re: What rangefinder for 500 yd Vermin ?
Thanks Rick. Since posting this question I found a friend who has the same setup and can range squirrels. Looks like another item I need to save up for. BTW, Nice bench / reloaded rds setup. I started labeling cases to hold ammo for the duplicate gun / chambering to keep them separate and easy to ke...

Re: problems reloading with once fired brass
Yes, I see it now... must have been between buying something and not focusing.... I agree, that keeping the brass seperated, and using the appropriate die that works ( sounds like John now has 2 sets of size dies) using ammo boxes is the best bet, I currently have $100 worth of boxes in my Midway ca...
