Re: On barrel life, round count, and bullet stabilization
You might want to increase your OAL as your throat could have worn over the shoot count a bit to far. Should check it every few hundred rounds really.

Re: 204 for fox.
.204 will flatten foxes for fun mate!
It will beat the .22-250 in terms of trajectory and wind drift as well, and for far less powder and noise.

.204 Bullet BC
Hi guys, Just thought id ask guys, what BC are you guys plugging in to your ballistic calculators for the 39SBK. I know that Sierra advertise 0.287 above 3600 ftps, and I know that this is well OTT. I have Chronoed my bullets at various distance and have come up with a BC of 0.251 but im still strug...

Re: best loads for the 204
My custom .204 loves the following, With a 1/11 twist barrel Winchester brass - fully prepped by myself Federal 205 primer 25.4 grains of Re-loader 10 39 SBK sat on the top. Muzzle velocities are 3707 ftps (Not the fastest) But what ever I shoot with it does not feel the difference. There is another...

Re: 1st shoot, NOT so flat trajectory ?!
Maybe I try that next time. If zeroed at 200 I guess its gona be 3" high at 100yds, at least according to my first test of bullet drop. Right? Wrong ! Just sight your rifle to have the point of impact 1" high at 100 yards. You will be amazed how flat that rifle shoots! Like I said earlier...
