Looking a Burris XTR II in 5x25x50 w/ 34mm tube and SCR/MOA reticle. Any have one? See one? Handle one? Quality of glass? Thanks for any input. I'll jump in and apply my .02. All great replies to your post. Don't know what action yours looking at? You did mention 30 cal. So don't over look the ol 30-06. With the powder and bullet selection for hand loading it a great caliber too.

Skipper I also what to say thankyou for the challenge to compete with fellow members. I do have to agree with last post that seeing bullet holes in a black background was a little tough. Thanks to everyone that sent back the targets for scoring.

Yes in my 3 rifles H-4895/ 27.0/ 40 grn Berger shot a 5 shot ragged holes at a 100 yrds if I did my part. If this helps. Haven't compared it Reloader 10-X that has a lot happy folks here. Just my FWIW. Good luck................still a good powder. I tried Benchmark form Hodgon as well. Just a grain ...

RIO and the hot barrel group way to go!! Glade to see everyone had grand time. Thanks again for sharing photos and stories. 900 yard shot with a 223 and a 50grain tip awsome to say the least. Some day maybe with try to hook up for a venture with the group!!

Thanks for sharing. Great story and pic. Glade to see you out for a walk about will good results. You never seam to wast ammo. One shot one hit.......nice very nice. Your eyes and trigger finger are in good shape after a cold winter.

I heard that Remington is pulling out of Illion NY and relocating. :huh: Anyone else hear this or can confirm what I heard or is it gossip.
