223 bullet and powder choices

I have two varmint weight or model 223 Rem rifle ,one is a Browning the other is a Howa . I started reloading in 1953 but this was the first time I have seen a chart showing the measurement of the various brands and types of primers. Good info. When ever CFE 223 powder becomes available ,it could also be a good one to try in the 223 Rem rifle.

Just started to use Imr 8208 and cfe-223. For a Ar-15 Ruger 204, Ar -15 223 and my favorite Ar-15 Grendel. Still in testing stages with these powders. With all the reviews I have read. I expect nothing but 10 ring stability! If I do my part

H-335 powder should use mag primers for best ignition.

I use CCI450s for all of my .223 loads regardless of powder, simply because the thicker cups handle pressure better.

Anyway, OP, picking a powder for the .223 is tough because there are SO MANY terrific powders to choose from - Tac, Varget, H335, CFE223, BLC-2, 8208 XBR, and many others. In order to really make any one powder "better" than another, you have to decide which goal is the most important to you - accuracy, metering, temperature stability, available load data, powder availability, cost, etc..
