Stainless Steel Media

Anyone ever heard or tried anything like this out? Looks promising for the ultimate in case cleaning but it appears one needs rotary tumbler vice a vibrator type.

I went down this road a number of months ago..and in my option it's the best there is!
It does take a bit more time, and make sure to use the Lemi-shine.
I have tried cleaning with both the high rpm motor and the low rpm motor and just takes a bit more time with the low speed.
I have tried cleaning a couple of batch's of brass found at the range just to test at first and it really did look like brand new when done.

It produces brass cleaned and polished, inside and out, including the primer pockets. The other downside is that, when you're done, you have to deal with wet brass. If you're in a hurry, that can cramp your style.

Another downside for me is I would have to pick up a rotary tumbler, not a cheap venture from what I've found thus far.

Jim,
One thing you might consider is looking on Craigslist. I picked up an old "rock tumbler" with two canisters and motor for $35.00 and it works great. Seems the pricing was better once I quit using "reloading" in my search query!

Make sure and check under "thumbler", "tumbler" and "tumler". It's one that is miss spelled a lot.
Also can get the "lortone" brand tumbler.
Here's one listed right now.

Appreciate it folks. I was really taken back how much the RCBS unit had gone up.
