My new leupold 6.5 x 20 x 40 came from optics planet. The delivery box was fine and the scope box wasnt damaged. It had the facory plastic wrap. To my dismay there was a huge scuff/scratch on the side of the barrel about 1.25 innces long. I put i right back in the box and returned it. I cant believe leupold quality control is this bad. When its replacement comes ill be looking at it closely and if its screwed up too ill return and look for another brand.

I'm thinking that over a year after posting, that he's got it sorted out by now.......
