I hear ya there, Walt. I do all my range shooting and recreational shooting out on open BLM land, just to avoid some of the guys I've encountered at our local range. I also am always willing to help others that ask, but after almost getting shot there once by some fool with a rifle, I avoid the place now and enjoy the solitude of the open range.

But none of us want to be known as..............

Just a comment for those that do purchase a Vortex.. Remember to ask the dealer or go through Vortex for the discount they give to LE or Military, active or retired on their products, well worth it to save some coin. Bill K :)

I got another Vortex this weekend, a 4x12x44 Crossfire 2. That one will go on my .204
