Nice Colorado Whitetail

Post by dsandfort »

Young man who works for me scored this bruiser out on the plains. Old boy was a fighter. Ear split top to bottom, broken points and hardly a tooth in his jaw. I had a chance at 9 other bucks but none came close to this one. How could I take one smaller than the young man? I'd never hear the end of it. I did put a sneak on a little 4 point (8 point to some of you) and got within 34 yards. Great fun and great weather. We bailed out to miss the storm. Temperatures went from daytime highs of 60 to highs of single digits with lows of -20.

NICE! If he wasn't hooked before, he sure will be now. It's great to see the future of our favorite pasttime in the hands of eager young men such as this fellow. The grin sez it all......nice job! :D

Hey Doug!

Good to see you over here in .20 caliber la-la land. Figured it was just a matter of time. Plenty of other small caliber deviates here too. Welcome aboard amigo.
