Those critters in for treats/meals are like some I have up at my old place every day and night. Fun to watch and see, especially when the does start bringing in the new fawns. And the bucks growing the new set of antlers.. Thanks for sharing yours. :)

Well this morning a nice fresh and heavy snow fall, about 1/2 ft so far. But in come the girls for breakfast. Enjoy. Had my cardio shvoling the berm from in front of the garage doors, so I don't back it down driving out.

Bill, it's sure nice to have these visitors daily. We get them too here, along with racoons, skunks and the occasional cougar. A few years ago, our nextdoor neighbor had her bunnies killed, and when she let the dog out to deal with the bunny noise, the cat took off and jumped the fence right into our yard. I was afraid the cat may come into the house through the dog door, and I'd have to deal with a wild cougar inside the house with two hounds barking and howling in the mix. Sure glad that has not come to pass!

I was visiting a departed friend recently at the local cemetery and noticed these two boys munching away:

By the looks of these guys, they're in good shape after surviving the winter here. I'm also seeing the ground squirrels (Skippy) and rock chucks also coming out of winter hibernation. That's a welcome sight, as soon it's time for the annual Rat Rodeo.....the most fun you can have with a rifle!

Interesting Rick how the areas we live in are so entertaining. We have a lot of those critters right in our area also. Cougars are trapped or killed every year in the cabin area and even close to a couple local schools. Bears, some coons, skunks, fox and coyotes are often seen right around my place and neighbors. I have a few trail camera photos of some in the yard at night.
Two local burial plots have some very nice bucks like those you saw, living among the tombstones also. It is always so nice to see and watch the wildlife. And then those smaller critters that we get down and dirty with. :D
