Lot's of rain here today and more to come tomorrow. They said winds to 50 mph too. No shooting for a few days I guess.

Talked to rancher yesterday, looking good for Wednesday so banking on forecast not changing. Probably be using my game cart again for Ingress & egress on rancher's prop. Planning to RON in Burney

had a pretty good shoot nothing to brag about though, taking that game cart with all my stuff out in the wet fields is paying off compared the others guys shooting from the roads. Shot mostly wirh the 204 at about 200 to 230yrds very rewarding. It was overcast with a 10+ mph N wnd so they weren't out in big numbers, but it does beat staying home.

Glad you had some fun and a decent shoot. I am sure getting anxious to do the same, but this darn wind, overcast and rain/snow spitting off and on, just makes me not want to venture out YET.

A bunch of us from Idaho Varmint Hunters net out in the hills this morning. We scattered out in different directions and shot ground squirrels all morning. Then we met back up around noon and grilled up burgers and hot dogs. Sat around and b. s.'d for a while then went back out and shot a few more. It was a beautiful day, lot's of sunshine, no wind, high 60's and lot's of squirrels to shoot at. A very enjoyable day. The weather report says cooling and more rain on and of for the next three or four days.

Next week looks to be great Alfalfa field shooting, but I got conflicts I shouldn't shine on.

After a couple days of light wind and sun shine to dry the fields out made a good morning for p-dog shooting. Took 60
of them before the winds pick up this morning.
