Ryan-- It may be time for you to purchase a small tripod to use for those "HERO" photos. Congratulations on bagging the bobcat though!!!

Way to go Ryan!

Wally World has some very cool, lightweight mini-tripods that fit in your shirt pocket for under ten bucks. They weigh about 1 oz, aluminum and moulded HDPE plastic, and are great for those times when no buddy or flat rock is around.

Silverfox: And I thought it was only us who called them "Hero shots"!

The flash

Post by Ryan S Albright »

The flash is blinding there was no way I could keep my eyes open. I am still struggling with posting pictures. Last night I had to go to work at 2am so I pulled off in a spot to try calling on my way in and the gun light failed me again so tonight I took it apart and checked it out it worked perfectly no matter what I did. So I repainted the rifle and put it back together for another try. Gotta love those demons that make us strive!Image

Congrats on the cat Ryan. Yup, you need a little portable tripod. I've got one that can set up on three four inch legs or be strapped to a tree or brush with a velcro strap that stays on the tripod and probably goes at 2 or 3 ounces.
