PD report from Texas.......

Post by Keith in Ga »

my buddy called me yesterday to give a report. He said it was 102 degrees and HIGH winds. He said it was so dry and dusty it was hard to spot their targets. He said they shot early and around lunch the targets went down, so they called it a day. He also reported that there was not a blade of grass anywhere, and didn't know why the pd's even came out. I remember his trip last year was very good, no wind, and he said even a good .17 rimfire would have been at home in the fields. He also said the mirage so was so bad, they had to turn their scopes all the way down, just to be able to shoot. Weather has definately been a factor for shooting pd's this year!
