Thought some of you might be interested in this new camo dip kit that you can do at home, like the big companies do, on your own guns and hunting gear...

Thanks for posting that site. Am plotting how to sell the idea to my wife.
"Then there are sheepdogs," he went on, "and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf."

Looking for a DIY hydrographic that isn't camo. There are Sooooooooooo many patterns out there and I don't understand why it seems that only the camo patterns are available for DIY.
Re: DIY Camo Gun Dipping
The only DIY kits I have found are Camo. You could buy one of those kits and get some film from ebay...

DUH! Good call! Little bit more expensive, but I end up with exactly what I want. Right on.

Re: DIY Camo Gun Dipping
Been there.....done that. JMHO: it's a lot more difficult than the videos make it appear. I bought a kit, and had my son-in-law who has his own custom cabinet shop.....i.e. he's more than familiar with materials and finishes than a klutz like myself.....use it on one of my guns. By the time he'd resolved timing/motion issues the "kit" was used up.
If you're going to use one of these I'd sure suggest that you find someone who's used one before.
YMMV

Vartarg, glad to hear your' comments. The videos sure make it look easy, so did the Sham-Wow guy! My mileage is usually less than most.
Best thing about this old thread popping up is that Otto Bismarck signature quote in regards to sausage and justice. Wonder if we have any left (sausage, that is) in the chest freezer?
