I Know most, if not all of you, have been receiving the notices from our various suppliers that for us poor souls living in Commie kalifornia, beginning Jan 1, 2018 they can not longer ship or sell directly to us, we must have it shipped to a FFL dealer and then pick it up there. So check your stock and plan ahead. Bill K
Thanks for the heads-up Bill. I've been stocking up for the past couple of months and have been noticing the availability isn't always there as we get closer to 2018. Do you know if this will apply to brass? Randy.
It's good to have plenty in supply. Reloading supplies, brass, bullets, etc., are still able to be shipped to individuals
here in California. talked with several suppliers this morning, only one has chosen to ship reloading supplies to a FFl Vendor
after January first, and that's it's their adopted policy and theirs only. Check with the suppliers before throwing everything
into panic mode.
Don't let my wife hear you say that. It's been my excuse here lately. Varmint Shooter-I see you're in Janesville, I went to Johnstonville Elementery for 8th grade when 6, 7, & 8th were in the same classroom.
Randyman.. Johnstonville Elementary huh ? What years ? As for the question on brass. From what I read it includes reloading components, so I would say that would include brass. Like most of the laws Kalifornia puts in many things are vague and seems like at the whims of the lawyers. Bill K
That would've been 67 & 68. 8th grade for me.
I'm trying to find a site that has the official word on the new restrictions. If I find one I'll post it for others. There are a lot of rumors floating around out there. Randy.
Randyman.. If you can or someone, I can email a photo of the Cabela's flyer that refers to the California law and beginning Jan 1, 2018 no shipping of some reloading/gun items unless via a FFL dealer, where you then pick them up. Bill K
Randyman. PM sent your way, re: the flyers put out by one, so far, Cabela's that refers to the law and it going into effect Jan 1, 2018. If someone, you or others would post it, they can read it right on the front page. Bill K
Bill k . N all the rest.simply pack your arms n duds n put granny up in the rockin chair n head east.missouri is still firearm friendly,we can now c.c. Carry without a permit.
Besides i kinda need some hunting, and range shooting friends
I could do that, except for two main reasons. Too old (80 years) and set in my way up here on my mountain. The other, that is where the wife came from and still has relatives there. Not that she would not like too be closer too them, but she said she would rather be closer to our children, who are also all still out here, with family, their own kids ( our grandkids) and some Great grandkids. But I could enjoy MO and find plenty to hunt/fish and enjoy, Robert w. Just a little late in my life. Bill K
