Amusing, but the same thing can be done with any CF varmint rifle when no 'real' worthy targets are available.
My 'sploding' tastes run more towards the warm, wet red variety instead of soda or beer cans. We drink beer, not shoot it!
No high speed camera, so static action shots here.....

But TK is right, speed does kill.....especially on small noxious rodents from a speedy 204 bullet!

Items like you showed and others like RIck's do give weight to how the 20's demolish upon impact.

Bill....what's up buddy? Why are you now considered a "new member" when you've been here for years. We KNOW you're really Bill K. .....can't fool us!
Did you have to create a new account for some reason?
No worries, we're just glad you're back in the fold.

Re: Speed kills- recreational target shooting
I thought I'd add a little more pictorial evidence reinforcing the ability of a fast-moving little cartridge (32 grains traveling at ~4,100fps) to do some serious damage to soft tissue, in this case a prairie dog at roughly 75 yards. This particular creature was just slightly peeking out of its burrow upon impact, and as you can see from the results, it was completely decapitated. Yes, speed does kill.
