Which suppression do you use?

Post by ShooterJ »

Was wondering what a good performing suppressor for the .204 is. Would like it as light as possible yet still hush the noise as much as possible. Anyone here using a suppressor? If yes how well does it work?

Several on board use suppressors and I sure with I could, but being a commie Kalifornia no chance. Sure would aid on noise pollution, ear protection, but alas no way for me. Bill K

We've had very good luck with both Gemtech and Silencerco; both make great cans.

When shooting ground squirrels, the rats hardly know we're there when shooting suppressed.

How well do they work? Most excellent! It's almost not fair......almost.

Looks like you have a nice setup. Do they perform about the same in terms of noise cleaning etc. Its seems they are all like 500.00 + 200.00 or 700+. So trying to find the best bang for the buck.

I think I would shoot more if I had one. Gets old having to put the headset on.

You’ll probably still want hearing protection. Suppressing a rifle from, say, 160db to 130db is great(!), but 130db is still very loud, and the supersonic shock wave off the bullet is also loud.

I like SilencerCo’s Omega, though it’s not designed specifically around small caliber rifles.
