Bit of advice wanted!

I've decided to have some work done on my 204. It started life as a remi lvsf. Since then I have fitted a timney trigger, changed the stock to a fully bedded HS precision PSS and fitted a lucky13 magazine system! I have had a bit of a chat with the smith, and so far I'm going to get a Bartlein 10 twist varmint barrel fitted, true up the action, fit a different bolt knob and have the firing pin hole bushed to stop the primers catering! I was just wondering if there was anything else people would recommend getting done! It will be used mostly for fox shooting, but also for some longer range varminting and steel target shooting!

Sounds like you have it covered pretty well with your gunsmith. And that new barrel and the smith should, for sure, have the crown proper. But I would make sure he does check and do the crown, if that is not on the list. Surprising how many overlook the crown on a new or re-barrel job.

I'm thinking of a 24inch barrel with an 11° target crown! It will be threaded 18x1 for the sound moderator!

Yeah will do! Putting it all together shouldn't take long! The longest time over here is getting it back from the proof house!

My load for fox is br4 primers, 25.2gr of N-133, nosler brass and 39gr B/kings.

No, I have about 4 that a regular visitors in the yard every day and mostly night. I just take some photos or videos and turn them loose. Over the years up here on the mountain, they have not bothered the chickens or anything and I just like to see them and mess with them.
They are really trap smart and not easy to get, here and there, like this.

We're quite a visually oriented bunch and need proof of virtually everything shooting related. (Meaning we like pics!)

Over here, farmers really don't like having foxes about the place! Lot of sheep farming in my area and all the farmers want them gone! Personally if they aren't causing problems I think they're better left alone! If you shoot a fox that isn't causing problems, then the fox replacing it could do! But I realise if I don't shoot them, they'll get someone else to do it!

I had my reasons for not taking pictures...you can fill in the blanks. He was about as nice of one as I ever saw. They have been on a chicken and cat rampage in my hood, I am not the only neighbor to wack them this winter and spring.
