Naming Contest

Post by Tarrin »

It feels like we have general consensus, shifting the forum name to be more inclusive of other calibers is the way we want to go.
I know there have already been some names floating around other threads, but if you can repeat them here so we have them all in one place, that'd be great.

Please reply with a suggested name, or vote for a previously suggested name, along with what group of calibers you'd like to see emphasized on the forum.

If we haven't converged on one name, we'll start a poll to narrow it down.
Thanks in advance.

Cool Tarrin, here's some offerings for consideration:

* The 20 Caliber Page
* The 20 Caliber World
* 20 Caliber Central
* Small Caliber World
* The Small Caliber Den
* The 20 Caliber Den

I'm sure others will have other viable suggestions to add to the list. So come on you guys, empty that head and spill those suggestions! :eek:

I'd like to thank Tarrin for taking the time and effort in regard to trying to help revive this forum to its former status.

May well be worth some internet knowledgeable soul to see what works when doing a search or what a search engine sorts out.

I would think either sub caliber or small caliber something or other may draw more views. If you include “varmint” in the title would not hurt anything.

How about "Small Caliber Central"? Not particular to any specific caliber.

If we rename the site to Small Caliber Central we might want to loosely define "Small Caliber" as to Not be exclusive limiting growth potential. To some, a small caliber is anything with a diameter of .32 inches or less. That would exclude some popular rounds for handguns or shotguns, etc. Perhaps we could use an additional arena for posting other calibers. Currently we have a forum titled "General Reloading" that isn't caliber specific. Our new site would be wise to be designed to be ALL inclusive yet clearly focused on the smaller calibers.
