Rick in Oregon

A dear friend of mine and dare I say a "fixture" around here, "Rick in Oregon" has taken ill and ended up in the hospital.
Few details but he is out of action and will miss the Great Rat Rodeo coming up in a few weeks in Alturas, CA.
As the leader of the Eastern Oregon Raptor Feeding Society he will be sorely missed.
Rick, you are in my prayers,

Skipper,
I will have to get in touch with Rick first, but I can say that it was major surgery and will require two more before he is done. Doesn't sound like he will be doing much shooting this summer so we will have to figure out some way to entertain him while he recovers.

Don,
I'm getting the info from my son (Rat Force One) and the first call was "Rick is in the hospital" and then a later call gave some more info. I will let you all know how he is doing as soon as I get more info (at least what info Rick allows).

Best wishes Rick. You have taught us much around here. I hope you have all the support you need around there and the best doctors. I hope you are comfortable and make a full recovery without any pesky complications. These things often pass quickly. I've been through a few. Good luck.
