CZ 527 Stainless Steel Replacement Bolt Handle

Post by wirelessguy2005 »

We have been talking about making this replacement bolt handle for almost a year now and its finally nearing completion. I have included a few photo's of the Stainless bolt handle on my 527 varmint. The scope is a Hawke Sidewinder 30mm scope and its mounted with Medium Leupold rings. The Stainless CZ bolt handle is a little longer than a stock handle in order to offer the proper clearance for today's larger scopes as well as make the bolt much easier to cycle. The pictures show the bolt handle with a standard round knob, we will also be offering 1 or 2 more optional knob designs. The knobs are threaded onto the end of the bolt handle and can be changed very easy to fit each person's individual preference. We will be offering the CZ replacement bolt handles at an introductory price of $80. plus shipping for a limited time. The handles are CNC milled out of solid stainless steel bar stock and offer strength, durability, and a nice look. We plan to start shipping them next week so please call or email us if you would like to get one ordered. (We are selling the bolt handle only, not the complete bolt) sales@customreloadingtools.com Additional pics and info is available on the website: http://www.customreloadingtools.com/crt_065.htm

Why the bolt handle is so long? An inch shorter could it still work?

the stainless handle is 3/4" longer than the factory handle. We did this for two main reasons: clearance & ergonomics. It really doesn't stick out that far, its more of an optical illusion.

Here is a look at the updated Stainless Handle with Ergo knob. We made a couple changes to the ergo knob design.

Brad - Lookin' good there, buddy! Nice job for sure, and if I was shooting a 527, I'd be having one of those for certain.

Very well done, sir. :D

How do these work with the factory rings that comes with the rifle because I believe they are high rings?

Thx

Jim,

The new stainless steel handles will work fine with the factory rings, it will give you more clearance around the scope eye piece as well as making it easier and more comfortable to cycle the action.

Thats been a very popular questions here the last few days. We really have our hands full keeping up with production for the 527 handles currently. I do plan on making one for the 452 down the road, I will make sure to update everyone once we get a little closer to production.
