triggers

Could somebody please explain to me the differance between a single stage trigger and a two stage trigger. Thanks!

The single stage is basically a traditional trigger. You squeeze it and it doesn't move until it fires (ideally if no creep). The two stage usually has higher resistance (6-8lbs) and some travel before it comes to a point where the trigger get into the single stage mode with the lighter pull (1-4lbs typically).
