The Challenge Begins!
I'm ready to go to the Post Office at 0930. We have three international competitors this year. Do the bullets spin backwards South of the Equator?
The rifle is a 204 Ruger I built years ago right here on this forum. The details have been available for years. Y'all, that's Texan for You All, get ready cause I'm coming for ya'. Let the fun begin!!

Re: The Challenge Begins!
I had my post surgery follow-up on Monday and have been given approval to shoot most things. I came prepared with a Free Recoil chart for most of my rifles. My Vascular surgeon might not be a shooter, but he does understand Physics. He said to stay away from my 9.3 X 62 (40 ft.-lbs Free Recoil). lol
Of course a car wreck could also potentially ruin my day. KE of a seatbelt stopping you can get into 1000+ ft.-lbs.
Looking forward to some friendly shooting. American Shooting Center in Houston or Texas City Shooting range is where I will likely shoot. ASC is probably under water at the moment due to our recent rains...but that's what rubber boots are for.
Nice rifle Skipper.

I will be watching for the target.. then one fine morning, when it is cool and calm at the club range, I will be using it. Thanks again Skipper for all your time and expense in putting this on. Bill K
(Smack).. You better shoot very well Skipper, I think or hope I will have a target that will place again..

I was told that the envelopes going overseas might take a couple of weeks to show up in your mail box. Something to do with the aftermath from COVID-19. Just be patient, please.

I just received word from foxwhistler that his target has made it to Wales. Your target should be arriving soon, if not already. Check the mail!! Good Luck competitors! Make all 5 shots count.

Received my target on 10 July, now just have to wait until the winds & water on the range to subside. Can't wait!
Shoot straight & often.

Re: The Challenge Begins!
Went to the local/club range yesterday morning around 0630 hrs. no wind and nice and cool and shot my target, made a pretty good group. Will see if skipper's measurement is close to what I came up with.
Will send it off to Skipper this coming week, when I get into town to the post office.

Is that a cup of coffee I see? I can't hit the side of a barn after coffee.

Re: The Challenge Begins!
That it is Skipper. I have two cups in the morning and then switch to tea/hot and iced or water the rest of the day. Coffee never seemed to bother me with jitters or sleep. Just have to start the morning with a cup or two, especially out like this or hunting with the sun coming up.
