At this rate of participation, I definitely think Skipper should submit a target! I doubt any of us that have sent in a target would have a problem with Skipper entering the fray.

How bout this skipper; if you get a few more before the deadline don't put one in (unless you really want too, please do so) if no more show up go out and send 5 downrange to that little rat and smoke us all. We won't feel jaded.

P.S. and if you do shoot make sure it's gusting 45-55 mph

Secret Code. Funny you mentioned shooting the rat. I dd do just that and have a group on the little varmint. Mentioned doing so to Skipper, but will not post photo of it until after the shoot ends and scores on it are out.
The little varmint is awful small at 100 yrds. I use a fixed Weaver 10 powder with 1/8 dot on fine crosshairs in the shoot this year on the rifle I used.

I was thinking about it but chickened out when I saw how stinking small that rat was at 100. I should have used a different printer with better ink. A little faint but still visible enough to say nope not today.

I was using my tried and true Savage Model 12 VLP with Leupold 6.5-20x50 varmint hunter reticle and target knobs.

Pic is from a previous engagement against another form of vermin. And strangely enough I wasn't using 39 gr blitzking's. 39 gr speer tnt's have taken over the top spot in this rifles favorite load over Benchmark.

Nice looking shootin iron there SecretCode! It appears to really like the speer tnt load.

SecretCode: Other than the SS, your rifle there and this one of mine appear to have about the same stock. Look very much alike. This one is now a 20 Tac and shoots very nice.
