You certainly can!

Just send me a PM with your mailing address and what class/s you want to shoot and I'll get the target/s in the mail (post).

I've done two practice runs this week and this shoot is tougher than it sounds. Many sessions at the range have produced some fine groups with my Savage. But shooting three good ones in a row for record is difficult. One marginal shot and one poor shot will ruin the effort of thirteen good ones. I guess you other participants have figured this out too. I would urge all other forum members to consider joining the fun of this competition.

I wish I could go to the range tomorrow but, Tropical Storm Erin dropped a lot of rain on us here in Houston. Hurricane Dean is headed our way. Since I work for the power company I need to spend this weekend making preparations. If a hurricane hits Houston I will be locked in at work away from my family. I need to make sure everything is ready here at home before I get called in next week. The city is talking about evacuations as early as Tuesday if the storm turns this way. Even a glancing blow from a category 4 or 5 hurricane would be really bad. I'm going to board up the house and send the family to Oklahoma if it looks like Houston will get hit. I sure wished I could go shooting.

For those of you who do not know exactly what Hot shot means I'll simply say DITTO!!!
I personally havent even tried a a trial run for this shoot yet. I also have not forgotten my history though :(
I'm definately in a slump lately concerning the 204. So far I'm relegating myself to the use of Viht 135. Having issues one might say.
On the bright side Viht 140 is doing real well in my 308 Krieger tube.

Skipper,

I hope that nasty bugger dies out or heads a different direction (like eBay)! Please do take care of yourself and your family! And I'll start a re-direct to eBay chant!

And to the rest of you Gulf Coast and hurricane zone residents, duck and cover!

I got out for a couple of hours today in between thunderstorms. Conditions were not good, intermitent blustery winds. This postal shoot thing is going to be tough. My personal goal is to shoot in the .5's. 15 shots without a flier is going to be very difficult. This was my best group from this afternoon. The flier was my second shot. I new as soon as I touched it off that is was sailing left. I made copies of the target to practice on. Hopefully I will shoot for real by mid September. Still tinkering and practicing.
