Bill I have 2 a cooper Phoenix and a ruger varmint target they shoot about the same. The cooper likes 26 gr and the ruger shoots the 32gr better. being in the ZONE those are my options

Hi Bill - looking forward to having a go and being the only participant from downunder - hope I do ok - my rifle is a fairly new SAKO 85 VLS with a zeiss scope - used a lot for foxes and roo culling (under permit) - using handloaded 39 gn bk's on top of 26.8 gn 2206H (similar to 4895) with rem 7.5 primers.
still playing around with OAL but will measure and match a batch for the shoot!

Sounds like both of you are set up well and you will do fine.. But I can tell you Skipper is going to be hard to beat out for first.. but hey he might have a bad day and goof and some of us will smack him good. Right Skipper ?

The target arrived in today's mail-looks good, hope I can hit it! May try to get out to the range before we start into the 100 degree days of July. Randy.

I have a strategy worked up. I'm going to watch the 10 day weather forecast and try to find a day where the wind won't be switching around while I shoot. A nice calm southerly breeze directly from behind that doesn't switch directions is what I'm looking for. Got my ammo loaded with plenty of fouler shots for seasoning the barrel. I'll probably put my best group on the practice target I usually set up next to the competition target. That's about how my luck runs these days.

I rechecked the inventory list I took to the post office. Your envelope was present when I made the group mailing. Let's give the postal service more time to deliver your target. If it doesn't arrive in a reasonable amount of time, I'll shoot you another one.

Yours is probably in Singapore having dinner at the Marina Bay Sands. I would highly suggest you go join it for dinner.
