Registration is officially closed. I'll be busy labeling envelopes this weekend and renting my PO Box. Target mailing will be Monday morning. Good Luck everyone.

The targets are in the mail!! My return address is:
skipper
15201 Mason Rd.
Ste 1000 - 327
Cypress, TX 77433

I asked the clerk about their holiday hours for July 4th and he said they would be closed that day. They're closed the Sunday July 3rd as well. I will go to the Postal Service on Tuesday, July 5th to see if there are any targets to pick up. Then I will score those as well as the ones I receive earlier and post the results.

No hate mail. please! The targets are the same for everyone so the fact that your target seems a little fuzzy is intentional. That effectively ramps the competition up a level.

Going to be interesting with the lightly visible critter. Better have a decent scope for seeing it at 100 yrds. VERY INTERESTING Skipper. :D

I love hearing the strategies here. I have my own but won't voice them yet.

I have a plan. Will test a few fouling loads on a copy of the target. Then will fire, for score, on the real one. A few more mornings, with weather clearing, wind down and I will hit the range around 0600 hrs. and see what I end up with, to send in.

After the scoring I will tell what my plan was, for shooting the score target. :D

I cant decide if I should clean the barrel out real good and fire a few practice groups first, or just shoot it fouled after one group...decisions decisons. We have had a crazy amount of rain, I am unable to go up my farm road to take the forms off my slab, much less use the tractor to life the bench into position. I have a couple of weeks to get it all figured out...

Tom Kat, in prior shooting for groups, what did YOUR rifle tell you it liked best ? I would use whatever procedure you used before, when you were working up loads and groups. Remember " Only your rifle will tell you, what is likes best" Go for it that way.

Just FYI. I'll be out of pocket visiting relatives in Tucson next Wednesday. I'll be gone till June 14th, so I won't have the ability to visit my P.O. Box to pick up targets till I get back. When I do get back, I'll check for targets then. So if I seem quiet on the forum, that's why.
