My targets go in the mail tomorrow. I'm not very happy with the results, but they are what they are. I shot pretty good groups the day before. I don't know what happened. :wall:

Well, I shot mine tonight. Needless to say, I am NOT in the running...at all.

Not sure what happened. Wind was near zero, temp in the 70's, loaded the ammo perfectly...just cleaned the barrel with my usual onslaught...and it was...UGLY! I have bullets keyholing, 3" groups, 4" groups, you name it.....it is B-A-D.

This is no B.S.!

I will be ordering a new barrel end of next month and sending this back to Savage or planting it in the backyard.

What bullets are you shooting acloco. I'm thinking about Silverfox and others who have trouble with 32 grain Sierra BK's at certain velocities. Sorry to hear of your trouble.

40 VMax. It is not the bullets, but the barrel.

Probably 50% me and 50% barrel. I have never, truly, received a clean white patch out of this barrel, no matter what I put through it, how I clean it, etc, etc.

Name the chemical...and I have used it.

Oh well...will get to try again.

I had a lot of copper problems until I got ahold of some Montana 50 BMG. Worked for me.

Love your teasers Waldo, but I can't make the "COSG" work. What am I doing wrong? All I get is the same old teasers over and over again.

The COSG is just a single image of the current overall small group.

Note: I have started the equipment list. It is linked on the postal shoot page.

Please pardon my lack of computer skills, but I don't understand how to get there from here. I would like to see both the equipment list and the COSG. Is there a different Postal Shoot Page? I bet I could hit this 17 inch screen from 600 yards if the wind wasn't too bad.

That's where I found the teasers but I can't see the other info. Not enough time to shoot this darn machine today-maybe somebody can save it by teaching me how to use it before Tuesday when I go to the range.
