I have been working on one, but I am very computer illiterate. I have the rules and target more or less ready to go but I can’t seem to post the target as it is a file and not a picture.
If someone would let me sent them the file so they could post it that would be great. Also if any one has any ideas to make the rules simple and Fair lets hear them. I will post the rules for now and see if we can figure out the target later.

Rules of engagement

THE #1 RULE OF COURSE IS 204 RUGER ONLY.
Must have been on the forum for at least 5 post or 1 month
No benches, no bipods, or tripods this is a coyote hunting shoot. I know some of you use bi and tri pods for hunting but they are not allowed in this shoot, Shooting sticks will be allowed.
All shots must be fired from 100 yards.
You must shoot from hunting positions; you may sit on the ground, a chair, bucket or what ever you would take hunting. If you prefer to stand and shoot free hand you may.
The biggest two coyotes are worth 10 points as are the next two lines of coyotes. The fourth line from the top are worth 15 points each and the bottom line are worth 25 points each. A perfect score would be 300. There are no tiebreakers so you may have to share your bragging rights.
Since there are 20 targets to shoot at your target can only have 20 holes in it. Any targets with more then 20 holes will be thrown out. Shoot only one round at each coyote.
This is for bragging rights only.
This shoot is to simulate a real coyote hunt so lets be fair and shoot what you would carry, if you carry a 20 lb rifle in the field then you can use a 20 lb rifle but lets be honest here and leave the bench rest rifles at home.
All targets must be returned to me by 00/00/00 the scores will be posted shortly after this date.
Any coyote with a hole in it will be considered a dead coyote and will get points for that coyote. the hole must break the outline of the fur.

As you can see I have left the return date for targets open as it will take a while to get this going.

O.K. heres what the target will look like. the top pics are 3.25"h x 4"w
the next line is 2.25"h x 2.75"w
next 1.25"h x 1.75"w
next 1"h x 1.25"w
next .5"h x .75"w
the bottom few lines will be very hard to hit and I for one don't see any perfect scores in this shoot.
lets hear what you all are thinking bout this here shoot

Wise,

I like this format, you can count me in. Maybe this will attract some more participants. I hope the traditional competitors hang in there and give this a try.

Excuse me while I head out to the range for practice with my stool and sticks.

For those that don't have shooting sticks they can be made for just a few bucks. These are what I use and have a couple of different lengths. I definately could use the practice with them anyhow. Dave
