I'm trying to shot mine but I can't get a decent day. I'll just shoot it in whatever Mother Nature sends me. Just like when I'm hunting.

If not for my forgetful nature remembering things would be no problem at all.

No one has to worry about coming in last on this shoot. I feel confidant that I can lay claims to that honor. Dave

Cracker,

As usual, I have been procrastinating . . . I've got it down to an art. Weather has been unusually unpredictable and my workload has picked up (and they want everything yesterday). Finally get a decent couple of days to shoot and I screwed up my back again. Hopefully It will straighten up (pun intended) and I will get out this week to shoot the target. I have several other postal shoot targets to shoot, too, and I'm hoping to take care of them all the same day.

My prediction is that mine will be one of the bottom 2 targets . . . no visions of grandeur here . . .
I hope I can someday be the person my dogs think I am . . .

I have yet to put holes in my target. I though that since I will be near a range for work today I could do the deed. then the weatherman say's to nail it down as the winds will be very strong all day. we have had the best weather for the past three weeks with no wind but i never got the chance.

What would it hurt to extend the deadline a couple of weeks? There really is no reason to hurry.

I shot my 'practice' target last weekend. It was embarrassing.

Excuses? I got plenty: too many to list

Fun shoot though and as always a good learning experience.

Well, don't wait for my target. I am still lucky to be able to get out of bed and a chair by myself. Back is still screwed up, better, but not right yet. I am still going to shoot the target and send it in, just cuz I said I would and I'd like to do it. Between weather, other obligations and extreme procrastination, my target just won't get there in time to get in on the "judging".

Watch out for the next postal shoot there, though . . . I will almost guarantee my last place finish, no doubt about it . . .

Well that was, interesting... : )
Was raining, but I got home around 3:30 and figured I better get that target shot. Was lucky they forgot to lock he front door on time at the post office. I bet it's postmarked about 4:04pm. They close at 4:00.

All I have to say is I think I need to practice more with shooting sticks.

Good luck guys!
