and the results are in. (postal shoot)

Post by cracker »

Here is the scores of the targets I received I would like to personally thank all who returned their targets I did not find the time to shoot my target. Work got real busy, my mom had health issues and the grandson took a lot of time getting him ready to deer hunt this year. I know this was a very hard shoot, but the targets I received show very good marksmanship.
I hope everyone enjoyed this year’s shoot and now lets go put some holes in fur

CONGRATULATIONS to all the contestants!!!

Giterdone kind of ran away with the contest and I know it wasn't just pure luck--he is one fine shooter for sure.

Nice shooting Giterdone! I think someone might be messing with Cracker's post. The math worked out earlier today, but now something's not quite right...

First of all many thanks to Cracker who went thru the time and expense to run the shoot. Cracker...I hope we can meet someday and I can buy your lunch.
I won by accident as I shot the wrong target first and still have not shot my practice target. I was telling Silverfox about a reduced size prairie dog target (4 per sheet) that a friend printed off the internet. Idea for the next shoot?

Silverfox...Your check is in the mail....Ha..Ha

Giterdone, Where do you shoot in DuPage Co??... My inlaws live in Ottawa and I have a cousin in Wheeling that is wanting me to teach her to shoot...

Usually when I get up there for a visit, I head for Wheeling to spend some time with the cousin and I'm generally unfamiliar with the area, as to the location of things.

I spent a lot of summers in Arlington Heights and Palatine, but things have changed a bunch since the 1950's...

as noted in my list of excusses not to but holes in my target you will notice my mother had some health issues.
Well she passed away on friday morning. she went in her sleep and did not suffer at all. She was living with my sister in st. louis after being very mistreated at a nursing home. my sister is a saint for the care she gave her for the last 1.5 years and Mom was very happy right to the end.
Thanks for letting me share this as I have always thought of this site as Family.

Our hearts are with you and the family.
I don't want this to sound odd in any way but, at least she went home in a happy state. My hat is off to your sister.
