Sunrise, sunset-

Post by Tom Kat »

We all live in a beautiful country, some of us are lucky enough to see some good sunrise sunset pictures. Because of where my house is, I very seldom get to see the sunrise. But I have a great view of my west pasture and sometimes get a good sunset picture.

So lets see some pictures! I will start us off-

Kansas is a beautiful state, but the beauty is subtle and you have to know how to look at it

This picture was taken in Kuching City, Sarawak, Malaysia on March 26, 2017. I'll never forget this sunset.

Sister to the last picture. The lower the sun got the more beautiful the sky.

Here are a couple recent pictures, both of a sunset. Can you tell which one was taken on approach into Dallas as we made our way east to visit our son's family over the most recent Thanksgiving holiday and which one was taken in MT? ;) I know...hard to decide...ha!

The Absolute best two times of the day. Sunrise and Sunset. More partial to sunrise as I'm more a morning person but beauty is beauty and sometimes only come in at the end of the show.....or sometimes not at all.

My fall and winter sunsets are always the best. That's when crops are being harvesting, combines throw a lot of dust in the air. Sunset I believe are a result of light reflecting off of dust particles. Anyway, I get some pretty good sunset pictures.

Fall is an amazing time with exactly that. Spent my childhood looking out the windows of IH's and John Deere's. I was my dad's shadow until I was in those machine's by myself helping with the family operation and really miss those times. Painting's in the sky.

Yessir, those are bluebonnets. In a couple of months when the spring starts they will blanket a good portion of the Lone Star State. It's just gorgeous that time of year.
