Petition 28

Post by Bill 204 »

Hey Rick what's with this Petition 28 ? I read it is just short of 20,000 voters or something and if passed with stop all hunting, shooting and even fishing to protect all animals from being killed by people in Oregon.
That would put an end to all sort of wildlife activities, if I read it right. These anti's/animal rights people are really going overboard.

Overboard is one word to describe it Bill. Total insanity is another.

The libtards have tried this twice in the past with no success thankfully. They're at it again full throttle this time. The bill would even destroy the cattle industry it's so encompassing. Fishing, small ranches with livestock, hunting, just about everything related to domestic and wild animals.

Voting now is even more critical than ever as the socialists, communists and bunny-huggers try to take over our country. It is my hope that every sane person in Oregon weather they hunt, fish or not, votes "NO" on this absolute unconstitutional stupid petition. It basically deprives us of our God given rights that have been in effect for millennia.

I can only offer one word to my Oregon brethren: VOTE!

If that ever passed, it would snowball over into so many activities that many probably don't even think about. Plus the impact it would have on the economy and tax revenue the state/cities rely on. Totally dumb people now days and they seem to be spreading. I long for the good old USA and principles.

...and I thought it was bad here in Washington. Hopefully, it won't pass because if it does it will spread like wildfire and it may even if it doesn't pass.

Well Rick, a post to add something to the site, it is and has been so quite. And second to mention a news report, this morning I read about IP 28 again and the fruitcakes. They now have more than enough signatures to add it to the ballot again this year to attempt to put it into law.
Oregon, Idaho and a couple other states sure are trying to follow California in stopping hunting, fishing and even domestic animal ownership.
Just too darn many Nut from California moving into them and wanting to bring their politics with them. Sad how the world/USA seems to be headed now days.
I guess we will see how the upcoming elections go and who will prevail. Sure wish your state well. Bill K

Bill...it's as bad as untreated cancer IMO. It just keeps spreading and consuming. Heck, the antigunners don't even try and hide it anymore and many of the legislators on the right, they want to play nice. To me thats like trying to pick up a turd by the clean end! CA, OR and WA have sure gone to the toilet bowl and with those folks that move to other places, I imagine they're taking their politics with them. AZ, MT and CO all vote BLUE now and I imagine TX and FL will fall eventually too. All they have to do is take over the populated cities in each state and the university towns and viola', it's happening.

One thing I can say about the Democrats, they play hardball, unlike the majority of the Republicans. Then again, they have the media and the education system on their side and how it came to be, I couldn't say other than it's like a 1/2 lb rat eating a 5lb block of cheese, one bite at a time.

I agree with you on the term Untreated Cancer, that is exactly how they operate and spread. Hopefully this upcoming ballot in Oregon will fail, as I was told he has in the past, but time will tell. The whole world is falling apart now days and no one seems to be able to put a stop to it. A total disaster for all of us, who I believe still have some common sense.
