Some other currently listed prices:

Midsouth is listing them as ON ORDER, with the 100ct for $14.98 and the 250ct at $35.41.

Grafs shows them as OUT OF STOCK, with the 100ct at $17.99 and the 250ct at $42.79.

Powder Valley is listing them as OUT OF STOCK, with the 100ct at $16.20 and the 250ct at $38.29.

I am definitely interested in hearing how they perform. A 26gr bullet coming from a stoked-up .204 has got to be smoking  - but the accuracy is what I am curious about.

I would quesstimate right around 4500 fps with the correct powder. The next unanswered question is will they stay together at that speed. If the answer is yes then will we be able to hit anything with them.
Lots of itchy trigger fingers dying to run them little boogers through the press 8) Where are they?

Hey just a quesstimate.
Too much data confuses me. I'll shoot em with a medium thickness primer until I get adverse pressure signs. Then switch to a thick cup primer and push a bit more.
That will give me velocity. Accuracy is a whole nother matter ;)

I hope they shoot a little better than the 22 cal bullets. I haven't heard of too many people that have had success finding a load to work with them. I am still trying. got a lot of bullets left but not a whole lot of patience! if the 20 cal does work it should be a fun bullet.

but I do know that after my experience with thhe 22cal I will NOT be waiting in line to buy these for my 204!!!!!

Kyle , Thats not good news but who knows maybe the 204 will like them , I'm not sure that they would be any better than the Sierra 39 gr. BK , especially for these big old whistle-pigs we have here in PA . I'm thinking there probably better suited for ground squirrels and PD'S , But its always fun trying out new missle's   The 39 gr. sierra's are very accurate also .I just think there one of the best all around bullets going for the 204 , but maybe not real fur friendly .

Yes I've heard of their lackluster results in .224's.
I'm going to order a box for my 6BR. If they won't shoot out of that then they just won't shoot.
I'm intrigued by their application in the egg shoots I attend. Every once in a blue moon one exploding egg will break one of the others next to it. These pills might help better the odds of that. Might not :duh:

The .224's shoot great in my vintage Ruger 77V 220 Swift. I'm going to at least try the.204's when/if they make it to retailers. If not soon, a road trip to Barnes' plant may be in order so I don't miss this Spring's rodent-window-of-opportunity.

Why in the heck do they do this to us? If they still aren't ready yet, why did they start advertising them months ago?

California has a law going into affect that lead bullets can't be used in several counties where the California condor lives so I heard Barnes has been working on a 20cal bullet for us shooters. I am sure they have done a lot of testing and thats why the 26gr bullet.
