Re: Savage 110 varmint Handloads
Thanks I appreciate it! I didn't forget to mention that I also added a headspace comparitor to my reloading "toolbox" as well and settled on the correct shoulder bump with the competition shell holders. I am getting 2 thousands should bump consistently. I agree on the full length sizing every time. I am hoping by not using a neck die with an expander ball and also bumping the shoulder very minimally with the body die that I am not overworking the brass while keeping consistency. Time will tell. I will admit I have an addiction to tinkering with things on the reloading bench. Like now I want to try 32gr projectiles because the factory 32gr ammo shoots very well so I have the urge to chase that. Also my local gun shop will be getting some of the sought after powders like H4895 and IMR 8208 XBR that I don't have yet so I also want to try those too.

All I would add to your method, is do not bump the shoulder every time you resize, until the bolt starts feeling harder to close on a loaded round. No reason to set back the should every time, while that fired round fits into your chamber nice and snug from being formed to it. Just a thought.
